Century club was started in a humble way, in 1988 by 29 members. The main objective of this club is to ensure equality and brotherhood among all families, irrespective of religion or caste. The other objectives are to render social service and to encourage and nourish the cultural and sporting abilities of the members. A committee (Governing Council) of 11 was formed under the leadership of Mr. Babu C. George, to plan and unify the activities of the Club. The developmental activities of the Club started in 1991 at Vennala-Cochin-28 by purchasing nearly 2 acres of land. Today, Century Club has grown as one of the leading family clubs at Cochin, with 1398 sq. metre multi-storeyed building with all modern facilities. At present, facilities like table tennis, shuttle badminton court, swimming pool, health club, gymnasium, A/c bar etc. are available. Besides this, A/c restaurant, conference halls, ladies room, A/c lounge, suite room, open-air restaurant, pool-side restaurants, spacious car parking and children’s' play facilities are arranged for members and guests. Today, families of about 833 members from different walks of life are the prime asset of this club. This club has privilege of affiliation of more than 90 famous clubs in and out of kerala. The club provides medical aid, educational Scholarships, etc. to the financially backward families living near the club. Century Club is committed to more useful social service activities to pave the way for the all-round development of the city of Cochin. With personality development seminars, variety of programs giving importance to ladies and children, cookery classes, club nights etc. Century club provides excellent opportunity to mingle and exchange ideas within the members.
